Making Drone Delivery A Reality
We have some exciting news! EASE Drones has teamed up with an Israeli startup, Flytrex and is now making drone deliveries a reality in the US. On August 11th history was made, 10 groups of golfers were able to try out food delivery at King's Walk Golf Course in Grand Forks, ND. Golfers used the Flytrex application to order food and beverage from the club house restaurant, everything from Gatorade to freshly prepared cheese burgers where on the menu for delivery via drone. When the food and beverages arrived, you could see smiles from ear to ear as golfers retrieved their orders.
This is only the beginning of drone delivery in the US, EASE is also assisting Flytrex as they work with the North Carolina UAS Integration Pilot Program to conduct more advance operations with help from the Federal Aviation Administration and North Carolina Department of Transportation.
